Fees & Practical Information
Appointments
Appointments are usually available within 3–10 days. At the beginning of therapy, it can be helpful to schedule sessions at shorter intervals (approximately every 1–2 weeks). Later on, longer intervals may be appropriate depending on your individual needs and concerns.
Fees
Individual therapy
- Initial session (70 min): €140
- Follow-up session (50 min): €130
Couples therapy
- 80 min: €210
Family therapy
- Initial session (70 min): €140
- Follow-up session (50 min): €130
In some cases – for example when multiple participants are involved in a session – the duration may exceed the standard time. In such cases, an additional fee of €30 per 15 minutes applies, based on the standard rates for initial and follow-up sessions.
Supervision and longer interventions are arranged individually.
Cancellation policy
Appointments must be cancelled at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made at shorter notice will be charged if the session cannot be reallocated.
Insurance coverage
I do not bill statutory health insurance providers. This has several advantages for you: your treatment is not recorded within the statutory insurance system, appointments can be offered at shorter notice, and the therapeutic process can be tailored more flexibly to your individual needs.
Private health insurance providers and supplementary insurance policies for Heilpraktiker services may cover fees according to standard rates. Please clarify reimbursement details directly with your insurance provider.
Costs for couples and family therapy are generally not covered by health insurance in Germany.
Duration of therapy
The number of sessions varies individually. In many cases, 4–10 sessions are sufficient; in other situations, longer-term support may be appropriate, sometimes with longer intervals between sessions.
Confidentiality
All sessions are strictly confidential. I am bound by professional confidentiality under German civil law (treatment contract according to the German Civil Code, BGB) as well as by the professional code of conduct for Heilpraktiker (non-medical practitioners).
